thanks, that was very helpful. the one thing I can't figure out now is how to upload an icon (thumbnail) for the home page of the item. there is the default image there now. how do I upload an image?

thanks

hi,

so checkout the item, and add a GIF or JPG.
then checkin.
then go to the "Edit item" link on the details page
and at the bottom, switch the "format" for the image
to be "Item Image" and hit submit.

thanks, I'll try that. is it possible for you to add a file type "ISO" that's the type of file I have on my page but I can't find the correct filetype to assign.

you can leave that type as "unknown".
the file types are used to "derive" formats
from one to another
(eg: make an "Animated GIF" from a "MOV" movie).

since the archive doesn't do anything with iso, nrg,
dmg, etc. disk images, it's ok to be left unknown.
